Practice taking quick deep breaths through your nose, and make this a practice every time you sing, whether you're in the car, or in the shower, or whatever ya have to do to develop this technique before ya step on stage to feel comfortable. It will be worth your effort. You can give it a quick test right now. Take a breath like you do normally through your mouth, and hit and sustain a note. Either count or watch the second hand on a clock, and see how long you can hold that note. Afterwards take a deep breath through your nose, and hit and sustain the same note, and notice how much longer ya hold that note this time! Not only that, you should be able to really feel your diaphragm working not only to give you longer sustain, but also giving you more stability on the note you're singing. You won't be likely to be flat, or fall off key once this practice is put into place.
Same goes for all you "screamers" out there! For the record, I took vocal lessons from the same coach who has instructed and given this same breathing tip to the likes of Geoff Tate and Ann Wilson.
Try it! It'll change your life!
O que sabem (ou acham) disto? Concordam? Em relação à respiração, a única coisa que conheço é uma técnica que um amigo meu aprendeu numa escola de canto, que se baseia na respiração pela boca, para permitir uma inspiração o mais rápida possível, mas aparentemente não será uma boa ideia
